What a gem. All of their ingredients are locally sourced and you can taste the love they put in every bite. Their coffee is next level too. They are must try and Lafayette is lucky to have such an amazing spot.
Loved the caprese toast & cappuccino! Everything delicious & beautiful. They make it with love. Even their bathroom has a soothing waterfall noise. Everything is beautiful about this restaurant. The price is worth it for the quality you get. Outstanding! Cant wait to return when in this area for work. I returned. Tried the breakfast sandwich. Again impressed. The focacia bread was wonderful. I liked the toast more tho. The sandwich was quite messy to eat in my car. Also got the pistachio cappuccino & as always amazing! Please open a 2nd location in BR!
Wonderful meal and vibe. Happy to see Yaupon tea on the menu. The burger was delicious and the salad was amazing. You can taste the quality and care in every bite. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back soon. The bathrooms were very clean.
This place is great! It was super busy when we got there, so kinda hard to find a place to eat, but the vibes were still cute inside. The tira-miso latte was so delicious, and the sandwich was pretty good. I will be returning soon for another one of those lattes.
My first time here and I’m extremely impressed! If I had known about this place sooner they’d be running my bank account. If you’re looking for delicious, fresh, simple-ingredient meals, this is your place to go. You will certainly pay for it, but in my opinion it’s worth it!!! I got the Five Mile Breakfast Plate, it came with 1/2 a roasted sweet potato, a strawberry salad, & 2 eggs however you’d like them. Then I got an iced americano on the side. Everything was delicious!
Food is very good, I ordered a breakfast sandwich. The staffs are very nice! I just when to there for my lunch. I was sitting a big table where has an outlet around me for charging my computer. There were a family after me they can’t find a good table for 5 people. So I let them shared the table with me. After this family left. The staff came and said they were thankful for sharing and wanted to give me a complimentary small dish. But I already full so I just get a black coffee. I don’t think so they have to do it. Sharing a table is not a big deal. So, I am appreciate for concerning. Recommend this restaurant.
My family stopped by Five Mile Eatery for brunch during a road trip, and we highly recommend it. If you have time in Lafayette, don’t miss this local gem! The Mystic Mocha was delightful—I only wish I had ordered a second one. The waffle was so good it didn’t even need butter or syrup; a little whipped cream paired perfectly with the fresh fruit. The mushroom toast was nicely toasted and, thankfully, not soggy. The fresh veggies made the plate refreshingly savory. The biscuit sandwich was so good my son thought twice before letting us try it! We also loved that they source locally and emphasize recycling. It’s always nice to support a place that cares about the community and sustainability.
Everything was amazing! The baristas and the person taking my order was so sweet. The person who took my order has glasses and pretty short brown hair. They were very sweet, accommodating, and very complimentary. The breakfast sandwich was so delicious! I loved the flavor of the herb Mayo with the greens, ham, and egg. The egg was a perfectly cooked runny sunny side up egg like I requested. The hot vanilla latte was made perfectly as well! It was creamy, sweet, and very comforting. I didn’t even need to add any extra sweetener. Perfect place to go for a sweet and hot cup of coffee. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very friendly, homey, and extremely inviting with its emphasis on natural decorations and soft music. Even the restroom is very inviting and comforting. I will definitely be coming here again more often! Love this place ❤️
Always great food, kind and attentive staff, great seasonings for sale, and the entrees have a diverse flavor profile. The best part is that all of the food is locally sourced! And the owners are women! Coffee is terrific and has the good ice, you know what I mean. On my most recent visit I got the five mile breakfast (I started eating the sweet potato before taking the photo because the food is just so good) with my friend and a blueberry iced latte with an extra shot of espresso. Thanks for the great food and even greater memories, Five Mile Eatery. Included are previous photos along with my most recent visit. Also! A major plus is the clean and nice bathroom with goats milk lotion to use after you wash your hands… it’s a great touch!

Everything tasted so fresh and light, but still filling enough to leave you satisfied without feeling weighed down. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, the kind of place you can sit and stay awhile. And the staff? Professional, friendly, and made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back—this spot is a little gem in Lafayette.
